Dead Man's Pants was formed in the spring of 2001 to offer an alternative to commercial music formats. Life long friends Dan Vaughn and John Waddington share nearly forty years of musical collaboration. Bob Rice brings thirty years of experience as a working traveling musician to the band. Alan Fisher is a seasoned veteran of the Pacific Northwest music scene.
And That Name? Dan came into rehersal one day wearing these cool vintage pants. Bob inquired "where did they come from" and Dan said "from the estate sale of the recently departed". Bob replied "so I guess you're wearing dead man's pants". And the rest is history.
